Portfolio for Kristopher Grint
Development in PHP and MySQL
Welcome to krisgrint.com! This small portfolio showcases some examples of my freelance work over the last few years. My interest in design goes way back - I started making websites when I was 12 and got my first commission at 14. These days, I am proficient in PHP and MySQL, and have a solid grounding in AJAX. I like to make web applications that can streamline admin processes and save time, but that are also easy on the eye. I also spend a lot of time working with content management systems, WordPress is my favourite.
If you want me to help you with developing your website, blog or print design in any way, shape or form, please get in touch.

Spotlight on: Journaux
Journaux is a web application written in PHP designed to facilitate easier administration of the academic journal publishing process by tracking the lifespan of articles. Journal publishing is a difficult beast, and success relies on the sharing of key data such as deadlines, peer reviews, referee details and PDF files between multiple people. Journaux centralises all this data in one place and allows access to those that need it - editors, administrators, and publishers.
Journaux is flexible and can be customized to your needs - it can be applied to any context where secure data sharing and administration on the web is required. Journaux is currently in beta but you can view screenshots below.
